Bothell – for a day or a lifetime

Bothell is where my family moved to from Seattle when I was eight. A beautiful little rural town of about 5,500 people at the time.

After moving to different surrounding cities like Lynnwood and Seattle I returned to Bothell around 1995. I did love the area of Seattle I lived in, Wallingford. Bohemian, very chill and cool people. I could walk to a lot of places easily. I miss that part like on Sunday mornings walking to the bagel shop that sat on the corner of a small shopping area with tons of outdoor seating. I’d sit and do my crossword puzzle, drink a latte and eat my garlic bagel smeared with garlic-leek cream cheese. Sigh.

Bothell didn’t have such eclectic quaint gems at the time but it does now. Bothell has turned into quite the food haven since its recent revitalization. Main Street has blossomed with cool restaurants with outdoor seating perfect for people watching.

If you’ve never been to Bothell be careful as you may never leave.
