Another great movie directed by and starring Clint Eastwood.
Eastwood’s directorial style is typically easy to detect. He and Robert Redford seem to have an aura of ease that I can identify with.
Eastwood plays an elderly divorced man a bit down on his luck. He unknowingly becomes a mule for the Cartel transporting drugs. Very lucrative, he continues and starts sharing his new wealth.
Family issues, hiding from the law and a lot of hedonism fill the screen. A supporting cast that includes Bradley Cooper, Michael Pena, Andy Garcia, and Eastwood’s own daughter.
There is violence and a lot of swearing but also a very human story. Solid movie not for everyone but I enjoyed it.
