The Mountain

I have to say that this sounded like it could be interesting. After all I don’t know how labatomies got started (ancient times I know that much). And I was interested in learning how the practice might be portrayed in cinema.

Starring Ty Sheridan and Jeff Goldblum, this was a low dialogue, artsy type film. Frankly, it’s not my favorite kind of film.  Very slow and not a lot of me meat to it.

Set in the early 1950’s, Sheridan plays a young man who is asked to photographically document lobatomy patients for Goldblum’s character.

If you’re into artsy films you may like it but it wasn’t my cup of tea.
